Young skiers competitions to take place in Sochi ski resorts
Junior Tournament on Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding to win Mountain Tourist Centre “Gazprom” Cup is to take place on January 20. Skiers from 8 to 14 years old can apply for the participation.
Skiers will compete at the blue Ski Trail N1, 427metres, near Pikhtovy ski chalet. They must take their own ski equipment or rent it at ski rentals. Only skiers capable to make turns, control skiing speed and stop at a slope will be admitted to the participation. Young sportsmen will be allowed to use Cable cars accompanied by adults or an instructor.
Those interested can register for the competition via Gazprom email gazprom@polyana-ski.ru on January 12 – 19. The registration on the completion day will be held on Pihtovy slope, 1660 meters above sea level, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The race starts at 12 p.m. Valuable prizes and Gifts for the winners, Gazprom Press Service informs.
